Policy Analyst
Kate Blosveren joined Achieve in June 2006 as a policy analyst. In this position, she conducts research in the areas of policy and advocacy, primarily for the American Diploma Project.
Before joining Achieve, Kate was a policy advisor at Third Way, where she acted as a policy liaison between the organization and its Corporate Leadership Committee, engaging on a very broad legislative agenda. Prior to her work at Third Way, Kate was a research assistant at the Progressive Policy Institute, focusing exclusively on education policy issues.
An Orange, Connecticut native, Kate received her bachelors’ degree in urban and regional studies from Cornell University. She also received her masters’ of public policy from the Georgetown Public Policy Institute, where she wrote her thesis on the relationship between high school curriculum and college enrollment rates.
